The Vintage Ironworks Standard:
Quality & Protection
Discover the engineered advantages that make our iron doors the choice for homeowners.
Durability, Strength & Lifetime Warranty
Vintage Ironworks door units, including the frames, sidelights and transom units, are constructed with a combination of 11 and 14-gauge steel/iron and 1/2"-5/8” solid iron scrollwork designs based on scale. These door systems are manufactured together
and are delivered/installed for consistency in tolerances from manufacturing to final application.
We have engineered several features uncommon to the iron entry door manufacturing market including a double sealing astragal system and solid steel flush bolt locking mechanisms. Additionally, each machined hinge utilized is made of steel and welded into place for increased durability and strength.
These units are certified for both positive and negative design pressures (+80psf/-80psf, equivalent to 217+mph wind load), water resistance as well as forced entry resistance and provide the strength for your peace of mind. Under normal usage conditions these iron door systems will not warp, sag or deteriorate like wood units and with
only minor maintenance should retain their beauty for a lifetime, because we believe in our products and truly take great pride in our craftsmanship, we put the best warranty in the industry behind every product we manufacture. Your purchase with Vintage Ironworks comes with the only Transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty in the iron door
industry.
